After a brief hiatus, we are proud to announce the return of our famed Adventnachmittag! This year's event will be held at the Concord Club in Washington D.C., and will feature musical performances by The Alpine Singers and guests, an appearance by St. Nikolaus and Krampus, and assorted gifts for children.

SELECTED EVENTS IN 2016
Monday, February 15, 2016 - Kaffeehausjause at the Embassy of Austria, with a presentation by Ambassador Wolfgang Waldner, music by soprano Colleen Daly and pianist Stan Engebretson,
wine and coffee with apple strudel and other delicacies prepared by Austrian Master Chef Wilhelm Jonach. There was a reduced fee for AACS members.
Saturday, May 14, 2016 - EU Day at the Embassy of Austria (and embassies of other EU countries). The American-Austrian Cultural Society participated in this popular event once again,
providing support for the wine tasting by Klaus Wittauer, and with performances by the Alpine Dancers.
Sunday, September 25, 2016 - Heurigen and Annual Meeting. The Heurigen, held at the Donovan home, was once again catered by Wilhelm Jonach, with entertainment by the popular duo "Liab' und Schneid".
There was a reduced fee for the Heurigen for AACS members.
